I've seen 2GB of DDR2-800 going for much cheaper than that, both after and before rebates, in the $40-$60 range.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. Gaming and movies etc.

2. What YOUR budget is. $2000
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. Canada

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an ""Intel""-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ""ATI""-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, ""WD""-Fanboy

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. nope notta

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads. yup

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. hmm liquid cooling + E6750 hmm how high can i go :D

just a comment on your liquid cooling setup. The thermaltake built in liquid cooling is ok (and much better the it use to be) but it does not compare with a good self bult setup (using an apogee gtx, or dtek fuzion, a liang dd5/ddc3.2, and a thermochill rad). So while it should beat any air setup dont expect magic (magic usually requires phasechange).

well 200 bucks for a liquid cooling set.... not including the 2900 vga cooling. and a good case is 130 - 150 so i decided to get that case which is 270 but i think i will be upgrading my liquid cooling system later on though....

You can save a ton on the motherboard, get a Abit IP35-E instead for $70 and have just as good performance/overclocking if not better. Put that towards a better video card, get an 8800GTX instead of the 2900Pro.

I'll never understand spending that much on a case but if that's what you want then get it. I like Cooler Master's RC-1000 if you are going to spend that much. Take a look: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119138

jonmc33 the cosmos is a realy good case (and not a bad start for watercooling) but setting up the cosmos with a good watercooling kit, would be over $400 and would take a some modifications to the case, while the thermaltake has it built in which is why he is using it. $270 for a case with watercooling is fairly inexpensive.

Kalvinj, if you are going to watercool the 2900 along with your cpu and you want to stick with thermaltake then going with their Kandalf lcs instead of the armor would be worthwhile (as its got a 3x120mm radiator vs the 2x120 in the armor).
