This computer will be used for gaming mostly. I planning on using my 40" hd tv for the monitor

asrock P67 extreme4

sapphire Radeon HD 6950

I5 2500k

(2x2gb) DDR3 1600 Crucial Ballistix Tracer (newegg's memory tool said they would work with my mother board, but I don't remember seeing them on the manufacture supported memory page.)

I'm using the 250gig Seagate barracuda sata 3.0 harddrive and muskin enhanced 550w psu and computer case from my current pc

Yep, looks good to me.

The newer series of processors are reportedly very low in power requirements. Memory fits the board, so should be good there.

I would assume your case is a mid-tower ATX or better, so you should be fine there as well.
