I have an Antec Super Lanboy 350 here that I was going to use to throw a few things together, but I.m not sure about the power supply. The case came with an Antec SmartBlue 350 ATX12V power supply (20 pin).

I have a DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D and an AMD 64 X2 4200+ on the way. Other parts I have are:

ATI X800 XL
WD 1600JD
Soundblaster Audigy4
Samsung 930B LCD
Benq 1640

I have a gig of Mushkin PC3500 laying around and I'll probably throw one of those floppy/multi-card readers in as well.

I was considering one of the following as replacement power supplies:

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 470W ATX 1.3 Power Supply
SPI 400-60-GN ATX 1.3 400W Power Supply
Sparkle Power FSP550-60PLG 550 Watts EPS12V Switching Power Supply
SeaSonic S12-430 ATX12V 430W Power Supply
possibly one of the OCZ Modstream or Powerstream models

Any thoughts on whether I should upgrade the PS and if so, what would be your pick(s) for a new one.

Thanks,
J

Hi,

IMO, i would update the PSU to an Antec 550W or higher, the vid card alone will struggle with the current voltage.. I am a firm believer that you can never have enough juice, especially if you are running multiple hard drives etc.

After checking DFI-street I decided to go hungry for a little while. I ordered a PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 510 ASL.
