I've already built a few computers and know what I'm doing, but I'd like to make sure there are no hidden issues with the more important parts I'm choosing...

3000+ (S939)
Abit AV8
Zalman CNPS7000-AlCU
2x512MB PDP (TCCD)
Albatron AGP 6600GT

I've also already got a Thermaltake 420W PSU (I know, weak 12V rail, but I've had it sitting around for a few months and I might as well use it).

First things first, AV8s have been shipping with BIOS revisions that detect Winchester cores, right? I've also read about people using CNPS7000s on AV8s, so no worries there. I don't really want the A8V or K8N Neo2 because the AV8 will suit me just fine, and Abit has been fine for me in the past, among issues with the A8V and Neo2.

Mainly just verifying the PDP is TCCD ram, which should be able to get at least 260 FSB (the least that I would like to reach).

The Albatron is what I really don't know about. I know the Albatron PCIe version performed really well other than the heatsink issue, and it looks like the heatsink here is different. I doubt anyone can really say anything about it, but I'm open to other 6600GT AGP suggestions. I don't want a 6800NU considering for the most part, the 6600GT is only a little behind it.
