New Build (when Sandy MB's are back)

Updated my above parts list. Looking to order today/tomorrow. Any feedback is welcome!

The only two things that I would change are the SSD and RAM.

I'm not recommending OCZ Sandforce drives until they get their firmware issues sorted out (anybody, feel free to post links showing that the issues are resolved), so I'd swap that to a Mushkin Callisto Deluxe 120GB.

Secondly, you're not going to notice a difference between DDR3 1333 and DDR3 1600 and tall heatspreaders just get in the way, so I'd swap the memory to this $80 G.Skill DDR3 1333.

Good build. I have pretty much the same thing w/ a different mobo and it flies.

Just fyi, test fit the CPU cooler and practice installing the 212 multiple times to make sure it'll fit properly and you know how it installs. The directions are pretty terrible and it took some time to figure out exactly what to do. Also if you have a fan on the side panel it might not fit in the case at all. It's incredibly tall, which is good for cooling but makes installation a little tough.

Well I ordered the Antec 600 which does have that side fan. Some of the reviews on the case called out the same thing you did about CPU coolers not fitting with a fan in place on the side. I'll take my time with it for sure.

I'm pretty happy with the build list and price. We'll see how it performs.

Updated the OP with final list.

Sounds good. Be sure to post here if you have any problems (or just to let us know how awesome it is)!

I definitely will. Everything actually shipped out yesterday evening, so I should have everything Monday. I'll post some pictures of the goods once I get them!

Thanks again for everyone's comments and feedback. Really helps to have more than one brain working on this kind of thing.
