New build SATA problem

Hello,

I just spent half my day building my very first rig but now I got stuck.

Specs:

Asus A8n-SLI
A64 3500+
Hitachi 160GB SATA hard drive
Win XP SP2 Install disk

Well on booting, the computer recognises that there is a hard drive and I can even set it up as a JBOD in the Raid utility (should I do that if I have a single hard drive). However nor Windows setup nor Bios sees my hard drive

NVRAID configuration is disabled in my bios, but enabling it does not do anything either. All my SATA ports are enabled in BIOS too.

Please help! What am I doing wrong?

Please ignore, problem should be solved. I plugges the SATA cable into the Silicon Image instead of the NVIDIA SATA port on the mobo.
