Hi I'm gonna be building a new rig this summer and I was looking at either a AMD 64 or a P4 C
How does this sound?
ABIT IS7-V mobo
512MBs of Kingmax Super Ram
P4 3.0 C (retail)
and a 80 GB WD hdd

all for $470 bucks.
Sound good?
 
That looks like a good setup. If you really want to go all out get a new Raptor drive as that will give your system a big boost.

It's about time I build a system with similar specs. I remember paying about the same for my current 1.6Ghz Williamete P4 from a kit. Now every spec is doubled for the same price............man, the speed of changing computer technology...............can't keep up!
