Allright, so i put my new build together last night. I have windows media, and during the install it asked for a disk of sp2. Which it didnt come with, so i hit cancel and it loaded windows, with no desktop icons, and it wont pickup the net or anything. So i downloaded sp2 on my thumbdrive on another computer and installed it and i still get the same thing. no icons on the desktop and I cant seem to get to the net to install drivers. Any ideas?

Hmmm...I've never encountered that problem before. Maybe buring SP2 to a disk, then reinstalling windows and using that disk when it asks for SP2?

Is VERY difficult to install. Make sure you put disk one back in when it asks for SP2 disk. Then, when doing MS updates from their site, be sure to check and download the Optional updates, as this is where you will find the .NET and SP2 updates. Otherwise youll NEVER get the OS working right.
Found this on a NE review. You might want to give it a shot.
