Hi everyone, I just started a new built, but I?m running into stability problems.

My system spec is: 9950 phenom BE, Foxconn A7DA-S 790GX motherboard, Visiontek 4870, Mushkin XP2-8500 DDR2 4GB, 3X WD Rapture 74GB HD, Thermaltake Toughpower 750w, Xigmatek HDT-S963 cpu fan, and Audigy soundcard. OS is vista ultimate 64. MB drivers are installed from CD and Catalyst 8.7 from ati website. System is stock.

Every time I run COD4 or Grid the games would stop running and than close bringing me back to windows desktop.

Right now I?m running Sisoft Sandra to do the burning in process. Next I will run memtest.

Please help,
Thank you.

If you have your RAM actually running at DDR2-1066, did you correctly set the voltage?

Memtest showed that the ram had 82 errors. So, I went to the store and had a replacement, and now I'm running the new set through memtest as well. The memory voltage is set at 2.13v running at 1066ghz. The OS is vista 64bit

Hopefully this new set of memory is good.
