1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
a. Will use it for gaming & photo editing (Photoshop/Dreamweaver).

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
b. Hard to put a price on it but if i do some conversions it is about $2500.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
c. Iceland is the land of parts for me.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
d. I want to try out Intel, Gigabyte, Zalman, Seagate, CoolerMaster, Mushkin.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
e. Will be using my GPU (8800GT).

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
f. Yes

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
g. I will be overclocking (eventually).

8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
h. 1920x1080.

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
i. It needs to be bought and paid for before january 15. 2010, but i really would like to get it before christmas.

HDD : Seagate 1TB Serial-ATA 2, 32MB buffer,7200. It will be used for a boot drive.
FDD : NEC 3.5" 1.44MB. Not sure if i am going to need it though.
ODD : LG Lite-On Blu-ray/HD DVD 8x.
Fan Controller: Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus.
Case Fans: Extra 3x Zalman 120mm silent case fans ZM-F3.
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

Please let me know if there is anything that might cause an issue with anything.

You're not running any exotic RAID array, so you won't need a kW of PS.
With such a high budget, whay are you staying with... "my GPU (8800GT)"? :hmm:

I am going to have six hard drives and either SLI or Crossfire after the holidays,
would it be enough to have this PS: Zalman ZM850-HP http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=198?
cause when i go to eXtreme Power Supply Calculator and put the stuff i will have in the case (wont get it all before the new year) it says 793W. Even if it is just a general idea i would rather want to have a bit to much then enough.
I am staying with the 8800GT ( a bit longer ) because i own it already.

With that kind of budget and those components I just can't see keeping the 8800GT.
