Just built my first computer and am having what seems to be a couple of issues. I have a 3.2 Ghz Intel Pentium D, 2 ghz of ram, 320 hard drive, Gigabyte motherboard, and ATi X1800XT 512MB video card. When ever I start Adobe Photoshop CS2, it seems to take a long tme to load, especially for a computer with my specs. I takes about 2 minutes to be really operational (if I click on Photoshop before that, it acts as if it "doesn't respond", goes to the program but nothing is seen). Did I do something wrong with my build? Is there a setting I missed? It just doesn't seem like it should take THAT long to load up Photoshop. Thanks for your time and any help is appreciated.

Going along the lines of PurdueRy's answer, make sure all your drivers are up to date, including windows updates. I know some things don't work at all if you don't have them (such as Microsoft .NET), but not sure if it can make them not work at all or slow in your case.
