I've been compiling a list of components which I'll be using with an existing antec full sized tower case. The main use for this rig will be primarily for gaming (wow) and anything else I might consider playing. I won't be buying a new monitor since i'll be sticking with what I have (dell 2001fp)

The components...

Asus p6t Deluxe

Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66 Ghz

EVGA geforce 896-p3-1260 GTX 260 896 MB 448 bit DDR3

Creative 70Sb0880000004 7.1 PCI express X-fi Titanium

Corsair XMS3 6GB (3 X 2GB) 240 pin DDR3 TR3XG1333C9 1333 Triple Channel kit

WD Caviar Black 1TB SATA 3.0 drive OEM

Samsung SH-223F 22X DVD durner

Antec True Power Trio Tp3-650 650 Watt ATX 12V SLI certified Power supply

Windows vista homr premium sp1 64 bit OEM

Thoughts and opinions are highly appreciated.

Would the stock HSF be sufficient for overclocking or should I go aftermarket for the fan....also, which HSF would you guys recommend.

As for the soundcard....is onboard audio up to par with a soundcard?

I'm not sure you're really getting your money's worth building an i7 system just for WoW.

I second the overkill for WoW. The rig in my sig runs WoW at max everything (shadows too) at 1920x1080 with like 30fps in dalaran, and that's with a mid-low end GPU. i7/ddr3 not needed
