new Build help

Hi I'm a moderate user with almost no brain due to a terrible farming accident. I have however managed to build a couple systems so far. This is the latest...I haven't had a great deal of time to make this happen and I'm under a deadline, so I really appreciate the feedback.
New build with a few parts from my old box?.Here?s what I?m thinking (any suggestions?)
mobo: GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Conroe 3.0GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core
Video Card: EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported
Memory: Kingston 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300)
The rest is from the old system:
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
Power Supply: APEVIA ATX-AS520W-BK ATX 520W
I?ll be running XP home

Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks!

Other than using a no name power supply I think its a pretty good setup. What are you planning to do with it and maybe we can offer some more feedback

More than enough power to do what you want to do. I would however recommend getting an enermax or antex power supply, or something of equivelent quality

How much are you getting the E6850 for? If you can find an E8400 for the same or less price, I'd go with that. If not, the E6750 is more value for the money from prices I've seen.

You may want also bump your memory to 4G for pocket change. I would also look at a quad core processor. They may not seem neccessary but for the slight increase in cost I think you will get a noticeable performance increase.

If your planning on having a lot of space used on your hard drive you should either purchase another or simply replace with like a 250Gb.
