new build HELP !!!!! Loading OS etc.

Did you put your operating system cd in the computer? XP will boot from the cd. You will have to change the boot device to the cdrom you are using.

I can't load my OS (XP Pro) because I can't get my keyboard to work. Its a wireless from CompUSA. I put in part 1 of a boot floppy for the SATA HD but when it asks to put the 2nd floppy and press "C" to continue I can't because the keyboard won't work. I got my OS cd to start loading but it asks to hit enter to continue but again I can't .I shut it down now I just get the start of a boot and it stops at "verifying DMI pool data " and the cursor sits there and blinks...........anyone have some much needed help?
 
got my keyboard working can't seem to get the windows screen to start loading .......oh did I mention I'm not tech man lol
