Yeah, I finally screwed the ssd in. My mind was just in a 100 different places when I ran into the motherboard sound issue but everything seems to be working just fine now.

I just checked the link and it works on my end. How do I make sure my ssd is working at its full capacity and where can I check for the speed? Are there any other cool programs you can recommend? (Check temps, graphics, antivirus, etc..)

Yeah it's probably just my net connection that is having a hard time with imgur.

Useful utilities include:
- AS SSD for benchmarking the SSD
- HWMonitor for verifying temps
- Prime95 for CPU burn in
- Furmark for GPU burn in
- CPU-Z for verifying an OC

awesome, thanks guys. I'm having problems with my SSD and HD according to AS SSD Benchmark. Not sure what to do, maybe I plugged them into the wrong slot or I have to dl drivers?

No, I have not. I'm reading the guide and it seems pretty complicated .. pretty confused here. Also, do you know how I can check for Updates for system BIOS, chipset drivers, and SATA controller drivers?

Looks like you are using IDE Emulation mode instead of AHCI. You'll want to go into the BIOS and change that. Before you do that, be sure to read this KB article for some changes that you need to make to avoid a blue screen.

should I change my Seagate 1tb HDD to AHCI as well? I checked the bios and it says my Crucial M4 is in IDE slot 4: Slave.

You generally make the change at the controller level, so it will affect all drives connected to that controller. There is not much benefit to using AHCI with a normal HDD, but there is no harm either.

Yeah, the second pic seems to be about where it should be. Maybe a little low, but that's not uncommon if you're testing the drive while the OS is running on it.
