Problem: Single player in BF2 runs like a champ.. however when i goto online play i often get the "There is a problem with your connection" for seconds at a time and basically renders the game unplayable. I have all the motherboard drivers installed. I just reformatted so im on a clean install. I cant figure out the problem. Should i try installing my older NIC card to see if that might fix it? Any Ideas?
The game shouldnt chop, Im on optimum online which is very highspeed cable. Im also connected to a linksys router, with 3 other computers sharing the connection. Even when those computers are turned off, I still have the problem. I'm going to try updating my router firmware later as it is rather old. Anyway in the meantime if you could provide any insights, that would very much appeciated. THANK YOU!!!!!
