So my speedstream 2624 up and fried itself... blown caps and all, even on a UPS... so I researched around and ended up buying a Buffalo Technologies WBRG54 wireless router. I love this thing, lotsa options and its all GPL'd....
anyway,
My Orinoco card on my laptop works with it for about 20 minutes, and then it stops. It doesn't work again unless I pull the card and put it back in, and then for only about 15-20 minutes again. I also have a LANEscape POS card that works just fine, no problems at all. I use the orinoco card all the time at various clients, and it always works fine. I tried it at my office on the 3com AP, and it worked great for 5 hours. SO....
anyone seen something like this? I've tried EVERY combination of wireless security settings between the buffalo router and the orinoco card, but it always does the same thing. I have the newest firmware update on the router as well. The laptop is running winxp, and I've used both its built in orinoco drivers (that have always worked) and I've downloaded the newest ones...
