New Budget Gaming System, Help Please

I'm looking for a gaming system for about $1,000. No monitor, mouse, keyboard or speakers needed. Wi-Fi Capability is a must. Please make suggestions/changes. This system will be built and used in the US.

G.Skill there's a 4GB kit off Newegg with the exact same timings. Saves you $100 and I think that 4GB will be more than enough to handle any sort of game you can throw at your system. You can use the extra $100 saved on a more powerful video card since you are making a gaming system.

edited my post at the same time, you might try keeping the $100 in your pocket and just using it in the future to crossfire another 4850.
 
I would save yourself some money and get an E8400 and a budget P35 motherboard. Or even a P45 board, there are some decent P45/4850 combo deals on Newegg. If you're willing to overclock, you could save even more money by going with an E7200, which is a perfectly capable chip.

I would also change to the WD 640GB Caviar, which is a larger and faster drive, for only $10 more:
