Not just the Romans, but the ancient Greeks as well. Aristotle, Plato, all the greats preferred the company of men.

No they didn't. It doesn't work that way. The ancient Greeks' aristocracy practiced pederasty, where a young man would have sex with younger boys. They all (generally) did this. It wasn't homosexual, it was a practice.

There will probably be some majorly fouled up kids as a result of that book. I know many parents that wouldn't mind killing their kids if they found out that they are gay. My biological ones, for example. I was actually forced to read (or rather, stare at) quite a few books like that for many hours last christmas season. It was my parents' christmas present to me.

I can't even begin to say how mad seeing that kind of book makes me. It's like people are still living in the dark ages... I'm just at a lack of what to say. My instinct tells me to gather every hacker I know and to take down Amazon... but that's wrong too. :disgust:

Does anyone else have any opinions? I can't believe that such works are existant, let alone still sold sometimes.

Then quit associating with them, you would probably be happier, and from the sound of it they would too. Grow up and leave. Amazon can sell whatever they want, it's a free country. You aren't put in jail because you are gay, why can't someone write a book about their feelings on it?
