Posting from Munich, Germany today (home of BMW). I saw and sat in the new 5-series today for the first time. It's a beautiful machine! The old 5 looks pretty ancient now, imo. While I have no problems with how it looks, I still have problems with iDrive, especially compared with MMI.

I also saw a VW Phaeton and an Audi A8 parked side-by-side. Talk about gorgeous machines! Certainly a step up from what BMW is putting out, IMO.

they are defaintely not final rims.

BMW has never put black rims on its cars that I can remember.

Can't say I'm a fan of the new styping at all...but those are some sweet rims.

Edit: actually after just checking out the video, I think this car will look MUCH better in person than in pictures. Actually looks awesome in motion.
