New BIOS release for ASUS A7M266

I was curious to see if anyone knew yet what is contained in the new BIOS release for this board. It is A7M266 BIOS Ver. 1004 06/05/2001. I tried to find information but was unable to at this time. Possibly it is just too new? I will be getting this board soon and would like to find out if it is worth the upgrade while I am building the box. Thanks for any help you can give.

Upgrade to it, final release of 1004-003A beta. Improvements centered around disk performance and memory tweaking.

Hey guys, where is this version? I don't see it on the ASUS site, but would like to snag it before my MB arrives today! =)

Also, what other essential drivers/updates will I need?

Via 4 in 1 yes, on a win2k install dont use the irq routing or the via vxd driver. Use the agp miniport driver from AMD instead of the via vxd driver in the 4 in 1. Latest official 4in1 is the 4.31 version.
