Hmmm, their website still indicates the original bios. That updated Bios might be a beta, which would not be good to install. I think I'll wait for them to actually link to the FTP from their website.
I just checked their website and the knuckleheads still only show the 1001 bios available and NO beta bios. arggggggg...Asus is pissing me off over this crap. I WANT MY CORE TEMPERATURE READINGS!
What the hell is that? There's a file called 1006ddr002.zip, but no description of exactly what it is!!!! Inside the zip is a file called: 1006ddr.002. Is that a bin file? Stupid asus! :|
Umm..am I missing something? My bios reports core temp fine as well as the Asus PC Probe program in Windows XP. This is with the shipping bios on a P4B266-C.

Insane - Then you have a magic bios bro! All the 266-C mobos I've ever heard of have the temp locked at 40°C, however, if you exceed 40 I think it will give you a temp reading...I just question the accuracy since the bios is FUBAR.
smackdown - Dood...I have the 3:4 option and it's enabled. Made a big diff on my memory benchies too. 🙂
<< Are you telling me that you have a 3:4 option in your bios when you go over 133mhz?
When i got 133 & over the 3:4 option is not there anymore for me,only 100-132 does this option stay there.
I would like to have it enabled for 133+. >>
He misread the part about 3:4 option for high FSBs . He is running is 1.8A @ 2320 MHz; less than 133 MHz FSB so he can use the 3:4 divider. I'm doing the same for the moment, running my 1.8A @ 2.25 so I can run my memory at exactly DDR333 speeds. Hope they add a 3:4 divider over 133 MHz FSB.
