Dated August 17 it is version 2606:

PRIME X570-P BIOS 2606
"Improve system performance and stability
Improve Fan control function
Improve DRAM stability
Update AM4 AGESA combo V2 PI 1.0.8.0
Improve system stability
Improve DRAM performance"

I am going to flash it tonight.

I am sure other Asus AMD boards will be getting an update, too.

4002 is working great for me for a few weeks now. 100% uptime so far. The previous non-beta 3603 release would hard crash my system about once a week with the same otherwise stable settings. Non-responsive power button too so I’d have to switch the PSU off and back on. I probably won’t upgrade again.

New 4402 BIOS for ASUS B450-F ROG STRIX (Not Gaming II, original Gaming, maybe the II has a new BIOS too, didn't check.)

I was having USB troubles recently, with 4301, now it seems like they are fixed? Hopefully? Keyboard's not cutting out like it was before.

There is also a release bios that came out the same day as the beta one above.

Version 4005
PRIME X570-PRO BIOS 4005
Support WIN 11 installed or upgraded

I'm not sure what the Win 11 support is since that already runs for me in a VM with 4002 bios.

However I think I will skip this one and wait until 4010 is out of beta.

I don't see that BIOS listed anywhere. must have been pulled.

EDIT: you have the Pro. I have the -P. Now I understand.

I bet it auto enables the TPM thingy almost everyone has turned off.

Dunno. I manually enabled that TPM thing and windows still tells me my rig isn't compatible.
This is with a ROG B450-F and 5600x.
Not with the new Bios though, maybe it will help.

I have the TUF GAMING X570-PLUS, and I'm upgrading my CPU from 3600 to 5800x and need to upgrade my BIOS. The BIOS is 2 years old but everything is stable. I'm hearing about the USB issue with AMD. Which version of the BIOS introduce the USB issue?

My B450-F suffered such annoyances although it has always been (that I noticed) keyboard/mouse disconnecting from USB2 ports (supplemental on the motherboard.).

I got it again the other day but since using latest bios and 5600x (from 2600) it happens a lot less.
Maybe that can help.

I have an old BIOS that don't have the issue. It's version 1201 from 2019 AGESA 1.0.0.3ABBA. I'm tempted to just put the new 5800x in to see if it works.

One of the reasons I don't upgrade BIOS is because most of the time they just add more bugs. I notice this more with AMD MB than Intel.

You will need to upgrade the BIOS for the 5000 series first. I am not sure if your TUF Gaming board has the BIOS flashback feature, but if it does this could make it easier on you potentially if you want to upgrade your BIOS or go back.

I am not sure on the USB issues, but I suspect that some boards have always had the issue, and AMD is trying to fix that in newer AGESA versions. My board for instance, never had USB issues, regardless of BIOS, or when I had a 3700X in it. I think some people have just had defective boards, and instead of getting a new board issued, AMD and partners are trying to mitigate problems with a BIOS update. Some boards have had issues and still do with varying degrees with the BIOS updates, and others have never had them.

I updated to the latest BIOS and installed 5800x yesterday. Run some benchmarks and testing and haven't found any issues.

Pretty good speed boost from my 3600. It does run about 10C hotter ...

Congrats.

Should be hotter much faster cpu and more cores and i'm going to assume you kept the same cooler. So you went from a 65watt TDP chip to a 105Watt TDP chip.

This is still the newest BIOS/UEFI for the Asus B450-F ROG STRIX Gaming ATX mobo:

Version 3103 2020/06/239.71 MBytes
ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING BIOS 3103
"01. [E] Improve system performance.
02. Update AMD AM4 AGESA Combo PI V1 1.0.0.6"

I DO NOT suggest flashing that one, they really screwed up the overclocking controls in the ComboPI V1 1.0.0.6 release. Recommend the ComboPI 1.0.0.4BB release (prior version).

Anxiously awaiting the ComboPI V2 1.0.0.8, to see how my Ryzen R5 3600 fares, as well as all-core OC abilities.
