New bios (F5) for GigaByte 8IRXP

I was browsing GigaBytes site and figured I'd check for a new bios for the 8IRXP.. none listed on thier site So I took the link to the F4 bios and changed it to F5 and viola.. I'm @ work and haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'll post my results tonight.. hoping for a vcore/reboot fix..

BTW.. the bios is dated 02/04/2002

I also got the IRXP since two weeks and am having this cold reboot issues too (when oc'ed)... Also tried the F5 Version, and the only thing that got better is, that I can OC higher than before. But this cold reboot problem stayed. Any help would be appreciated.

did you save teh original bios? f2

I am looking for this as I believe it may get past the cold boot

my mb got delivered with f4, so i don't have the f2 version. but f2 seems to be a good idea, as tomshardware used this bios on their irxp. will try to find it. i'll msg if i find it...

Edit: Have you tried F3?
