I must be lucky with all the other errors and bugs I've been having with nvidia's drivers since the Summer, I have not got this TDR crashing bug with the BF3 drivers.
That is slow. I will only play games that run capped @ 60fps.
Its a bad coded engine. Graphics aren't all that.
I will go with modern warefare 3 this year. gl
I'm still on 275.33 because of the crash-and-recover problem while browsing with any 28x driver I've tried. It sounds like this is still an issue with the "WHQL"s. How a problem this bad could get past their quality control puzzles me.
Companies are smarter now. They let consumers do the QA for them. Look at the condition in which most games are released these days. I ran into a game breaking bug within 1min of playing the BF3 campaign! 1 min! It wasn't even an action sequence. I was just following a guy.
Thank you,, gg gb and always gl
Me either. I guess we are lucky.

Those are horrible numbers... 30fps is unplayable. This is why my war game for the year is Modern Warefare 3 because I know it will run as fast as Crysis 2 , Dirt 3, 60fps capped....etc... gg and gl The 580 cant even handle this game, How sad, The Frostbite engine blows when it comes to performance. PLus theres no way the graphics are better then Crysis 2 or Modern Warefare 3 but yet it runs only at 25 to 30fps, While Crysis 2 and MW3 run @ 60fps capped no matter what the action is. Thank you,, gg gb and always gl
There is a SLI profile for Rage. It switches render mode to single GPU.😛Is there an SLI profile for Rage in this release?

Upgraded to this new release....still having random driver crashes, sometimes mulitple times per day and even while just web browsing. So far, have had no stable Nvidia drivers at all. Horrible and about to make me switch out the card for an ATi card. While performance may not be the same, at least I've never had such driver crashing problems when I used ATi cards.
Just as an FYI....my system is a 2500K @ 4.6GHz on an Asus Maximus Gene-Z, 16GB Corsair DDR3-1600 RAM, Intel 510 250GB SSD. Video card is an EVGA 560Ti, running at its stock speeds.
