What gamer will be interested in is the actual changes that you guys have made.

I understand that you don't want to "write a dissertation" but we need a lot more info understand whether we want to download this mega-mod or not.

A couple of map shots and a list of weapons changes would do wonders for me personally.

What? See this is exactly what I mean. Instead of giving any info on it, you tell me:

The developer has 10000 + Hours into it... it has been developed to where it is....

Um ok, what's that mean. A lot of time's been put into. That's good.

I have a day job, and don't do this often.. was trying to offer new content to an old game...

Ok, give us some examples of what's new versus vanilla BF2.

If you have nothing good to say....Head on down the road...

I have really nothing to say because I don't know what this mod is about, and frankly, I don't think anyone knows what it's about.

No other mod has had anywhere near the realism in these weapons, and the quality of Infantry weapons....

Maybe so, but this means nothing if you don't tell us how and why the weapons are so good.

When BF2 came out BAMA played for about 18 months... He left the game disillusioned by how bad the game had become due to the points whoring system, and the general game play inconsistency's that EA/DICE were slow to address....

? Examples?

Look, I'm not here to crap on anything you said or the mod itself. You come here trying to drum up interest for the mod, and all I'm asking is for a coherent post on what the mod changes (it can be general, I'm not talking about miniscule changes) and adds.

And judging by other people's responses, they think the same thing as well.

What the trailer is demonstrating is the True Fire, and Forget Missiles that are in all...Aircraft...

Hellfire, JASSM, Maverick, Stingers etc.... (Stingers are Hand Weapons)

No other mod has had anywhere near the realism in these weapons, and the quality of Infantry weapons....

With a Mod this in depth, it would require a short film to get into all the "Differences"...

At 3.4 GB... (36 Maps) each map has 3 variants this mod is huge...

I'll try to get a vehicle list, and map list posted....

Doesn't the AIX mod have these? It has these "smart bombs" that home in on any occupied vehicle near where they are released. It was annoying hearing this "beep beep beep", and knowing you couldn't do anything to avoid death.

It also had stingers for the infantry that would lock on to planes. But the planes are so "hopped up", that this wasn't enough to overcome their advantages. The whole thing seemed to be created because the guys loved to fly jets and blow things up "real good". Instead of dropping two bombs, planes would drop like 8 to 20 at a time. Is this mod like that?

IMHO, if "Fire and Forget" means the computer does your aiming for you, this takes down the skill and fun factor...

Had to wait a long ass time just to get to any 'content'. I'll stick with Project Reality, which is 100% bad ass.

Agreed. Best mod to date. Though I tried it a few weeks back and still really prefer ARMA2 hands down. It's not the mod, but more the engine that's the problem.
