This is a WHQL-candidate driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

This isn't SLI at all. It's running one NVIDIA card as the video card and another as the PhysX card without an SLI bridge. The two cards can be different models.

With SLI the two cards have to be the same and the driver manages the graphics and PhysX load between the two cards. Both cards will handle graphics and PhysX.

The latter situation is useful for someone with a powerful card for graphics (such as a GTX 260 or better) and an older 8 or 9 series card for PhysX. Whereas the SLI option is preferred when someone has two identical cards.
