New Beavis & Butthead series premier

I didn't see the movie yet but really want to. B&B was one of my favorite shows when it came out, I watched every episode countless times. I knew a new series was coming out but I didn't realize the 1st episode was put on YT for all to see. Mike Judge is awesome, outside of it being HD and them mostly roasting TikTok videos instead of music videos, to me it felt just like the old show. I'm old as shit compared to when it 1st came out, but this is perfectly like the old episodes. If the rest of the new episodes are this good I'll have to break down and buy a subscription to Paramount+. Anyone who grew up with the OG needs to watch this, I was really really surprised at how decades have passed but it felt exactly I was 20 again watching it. I definitely need to go watch the movie now. Hopefully Mike's anti Trump and we can get an episode where they roast MAGA people, that would be pure awesomeness.

But, eh, to me, B&B raises the question, "How far into the wasteland of dull stupidity can you march under the banner of detached irony?"



*However, beware of folks who advertise themselves as having a great sense of humor. It's kind of like so many who think they're great lovers. Saying so is almost a flashing red sign that they're not either.

It's still the exact same 2 losers who have no idea how dumb they are on a mission to score, which will clearly never happen. And just like the original in the 1st new ep they believed they were gonna get laid lol. Hopefully they'll bring back Principle Mcvickers, Mr Vandreesen, Todd & Stewart. Oh and Tom Anderson.

I saw it occasionally if it happened to be on when I was flipping through the channels, but never got into it enough to seek it out.

Funniest thing for me was that a coworker of mine from China loved the show and would imitate Butthead in the office. The combo of his accent and the goofy laugh cracked me up every time.

What? Beavis and Butthead is good stuff. I didn't watch a lot of it, but I enjoyed it from time to time. The movie is great. There's no reason to dislike the low brow. Those guys are sort of a metaphor for wandering through life, blissfully unaware of how things work and the childlike innocence of discovering plain truths as if anew--we get to witness this sort of thing through their eyes.

I also think Dumb & Dumber is one of the greatest movies ever made.
