New Battlefield 2 patch sucks!

The new patch ruined the gameplay of Battlefield 2, I made several topics about it in official EA forums, if you feel the same, go to their forums and complain.

you mean because you can't bunny hop and dolphin dive all over the place now?

i like it so far. i can actually hit people with the sniper rifles now. i like the new sniper rifle too. only problem is that its extremely loud.

Wow u already unlocked it? pontifex are the crosshairs skinny when zoomed? That was a major flaw of the old unlock rifle.

Seriously. I'm so glad they nerfed bunny-hopping and dolphin-diving. So annoying.

I just got BF2 and installed the 1.2 patch and the game plays really well for me. What's so bad about the patch PeteRoy?

My guess is you are either a fly-boy or a bunny hopper, because those are the only people that don't like the new patch. The only thing I don't like about it is you cannot throw bags in the air, but the pros far outweigh that. PKM is now a slaughtering machine.

i'm glad they fixed it. if i wanted to see some bunny hopping, i'd install CS again.

The people complaining about bunnyhoppers and dolphin divers were the ones who were getting killed by them...I never had any problems shooting them. Dice made the game easier like the xbox version.

the same thing happened in cod back in the day. not sure why dice even let this slip through in the first place. the world doesn't need more bunnyhoppers!

The 1.2 patch changes the gameplay too much. I was going to try to adapt to it until I ran into a sea of claymores on warlord.

it's too bad people aren't good enough to play with bunnyhoppers anymore. i guess they just wanted to make it easier for all the people who don't have the hand eye coordination to shoot them. it used to be fun playing bf2, now i feel like i'm playing halo on the xbox again.

I like everything about the new patch except the Blawk Hawk. Sure before it was a little cheap before but people could still take it out... Now that thing is a flying death trap.

I like the patch so far. I honestly have not once been on a server with lots of snipers or claymores. Usually I'm the only sniper on my team, and the other time might have 2 at most. Bunny hopping is just plain stupid, honestly. It'd be nice to get an unlock reset so I can get new unlocks when they come out, but that's my only complaint. Just ordered another gig of RAM to help with this game.

well, i hadn't played in a long time so i reinstalled it yesterday and as soon as i logged in i had 2 unlocks waiting for me and that was one of the ones i could get. they also had a p90 for anti-tank i think, which was new. i forget what my rank is now.

i think they changed the grenades too. i don't remember being able to throw them that far before. seems like you can throw them halfway across the map!

you guys ever seen a real soldier bunnyhop?

please you try jumping around like that in full armor and a pack well see how fast you move...
its more realistic if i wanted to play an arcade game id play CS.. which is for teenagers and arcade boys..

let us big boys have BF2...

It is a TRANSPORT chopper, not an ATTACK chopper. The MEC/CHINA had no equivilant, so it was nerfed.

It was a compromise because you can no longer jump and throw.

The only thing I don't like is that you can't throw C4 over walls now, other than that? :thumbsup:
