175meg torrent 15 minutes long. This games is gonna be a blast! The vehicle models in there look soo good, coming close to flight sim quality. I can't wait to run around in that AA tank, it just tears everything to pieces :Q

more trailers #4 and #5 are new today, and shot from the 1st person view.

As a huge BF:V player, I can't wait! It should hopefully be released this coming March/April!

I've learned from HL2 that I shouldn't buy the top of the line games instantly. I'll wait till I get a newer system.

What's up with the weightless, jump 4 feet off the ground death animations?

I'm sure the odd physics and lack of shots from the hud have to do with the game being 6 months out.

is there a FPS part of the game?

When I played bf1942, I always wondered what the point was to have any guns. Everyone was always in a tank or airplane or whathaveyou. The only weapon worth holding was an RPG, and even that was no match for a tank.

Only the DC mod was like that. I am a die hard BF1942 original fan because the gameplay was fps due to limited vehicles on most of the maps.

DC is pretty fun... its just the fact that the planes and SCUD missles dominate a little too much in many of the maps.

First, the RPG is a match for a tank. One RPG to the back of a Panzer or Sherman will destroy it. Tigers and M10's are tougher, and hitting the front or sides of any tank doesn't do nearly as much damage as hitting it in the back.

Second, I totally disagree. It depends on the map of course, but in most maps, infantry plays a very key role. I think the strength of BF was how they included so many vehicles without diminishing the importance of infantry.

Would be better if it wasn't all tank wars. Discourages teamwork and infantry. In Joint Operations there are plenty of vehicles, but it doesnt turn it into vehicle wars.
