My car battery dies a couple of days ago and I was able to jump start it and could keep it running until I turned the car off. When I would try to start it again sometimes it would start and only last 5 minutes and sometime I would just get Clicks when I turned the key. I tried charging and nothing. If I ran the car for about 10 minutes I could start the car up again with no problem but that only happens once. So I went to walmart and bought a new battery and replaced it with the old and the car made no noise when I turned the key only the dash lights came on, I tried jumping the car and nothing changed. But there is a clicking ( sounds like a blinker ) on the left side of the dash even when the key is out. So I put the old battery back in to try and jump the car but it's doing the same thing that the new battery was doing, no start, no click, only dash lights and the clicking on the left of the dash. I know that I hocked the cables up right and that the starter was workout fine. It is a 2000 Subaru impress outback

I would make sure the new battery is fully charged. Leave it on a battery charger for several hours or overnight. Then make sure all the connections are good. Then try to start the car.

If it won't start with a known good battery, then I would investigate the starter/solenoid, and then the key switch.

Battery cables are corroded, damaged in various places. If you're not mechanically inclined, this won't be an easy fix.

Check battery terminal connections.

Check for 'crunchy cables'. Bend your battery cables.. If they crunch, water got inside and has corroded the wires. Use a multimeter and check the end of the cables opposite of the battery.

It's almost definitely a battery cable issue.
