I had to laugh at how useless Black Widow looked in the last 'crowd shot'.

Stark continuing as the sole Iron Man seems a bit silly though, I mean I know those suits must be crazy-expensive, but it seems like you ought to be able to outfit at least a dozen people in them. A squad of Iron Men could do some serious damage. But I probably should not attempt to apply logic to this film. 🙂

He's the only one who can build them, he's hardly going to start giving them out. With the obvious exception of war machine.

I'm pretty sure this movie is going to have trouble making all the characters relevant. The damn bow dude and the girl are completely outmatched by the big three.

Also I'm calling Thor kills the giant robot snake.

I went with 3D after someone in the "rate a movie" thread said it was well worth it in 3D. Hopefully it won't be one of those major headaches and more like Avatar.

I look over at the blu-ray.com forums for movie information. They have a movies section and people will tell you in the threads if the movie is worth watching in 3D.

The Avengers has gotten a lot of good reviews.

Lots of superhero movies have gotten great reviews. A lot of them are clunkers though.

Most super heroes are written to where they really don't trust anyone at all, for obvious reasons. Why would Stark give up some awesome tech to several other people? The more people who knows a super heroes' secrets means there are more people who can potentially use those secrets against them.

In the comics he actually has an "army" and builds custom suits for people. He even made a suit for Spiderman at one point.
