OSX does rock. But why would he buy a Mac to use a *nix OS when he can buy a pc so much cheaper, and just install unix himself? Methinks he is an idiot.

I was so disappointed when I actually saw the Tony Hawk ad. When I heard about it, I thought "maybe it's some other skateboarder named Tony Hawk."

Alas, it was not.

Uh, can you run office, or IE, or photoshop, etc on linux or BSD for the PC?

Have you used a mac or is this just a broad generalization?

Easy to use and intuitive does not equal dumb.

 

Y0, while I'm not out clubbin' or gettin' my car detailed I'm using OSX. It's da bomb y0! I'm 20 years old but been using Windows 10 yeees and Unix for 7 yeees ontopa that! So I've been using computers since I was tree.

Yep I've used them, OS X is better, but the overal system still sucks. For example 10 minets ago I just had a guy return an LG 32x10x32 cd burner. He wanted to use it in his mac, but the built in cd-rw software wasn't compatable. He said he'd he have to go buy some other cd burning software just to be able to use it. I could go on for hours, but don't really want to start a flame war.

That digital camera one has got to be the worst, if your father cant download something that says "DOWNLOAD HERE IF YOU HAVE THIS EXACT CAMRA" within 5 hours I think you need to put him in a home for old folks cus he's WAY past senile. The simplicity these people are trying to convey is almost embarassing, "See!, I just pwug it in da hole and den it works, like diss watch, hehe, I saved christmas, I'm happy :D".

The slogan for these add's should be "Are you a moron?, Buy a Mac, all these dipsh*ts are doing it so why dont you!?!"

I'm not a mac hater but the commercials are "re-dickaliss"

Hmm...a 21ish year old IT director? Yeah, right. They obviously make these up, but they should at least make them believable. I mean, can you see this guy being hired ANYWHERE, let alone as an IT director?
