DeadAIM was written to remove those annoying adverts from AOL's Instant Messenger Version 4 and higher. DeadAIM is not effected by the resizing of the AIM window, the ads stay removed.

I downloaded it. Went right back to 4.4 because it pops up some lame-o window when you first connect. Didn't even look to see if you could turn it off. Wasn't worth the trouble.

I'm not sure, but I know there is a logging hack out that can enable logging for all AIM versions

cool, i didn't know that they had a program to do that. I found a site that showed how to edit some code and take of the advertisments. So i did. Worked fine too.
