New Anti-Rape Condoms! OUCH!

I love the idea, but imagine if the guy has HIV and starts bleeding? I know the article mentions the prevention of HIV, but the device looks like it could cause bleeding.

 
Wont sit well with the law in the US. Just like how the guy who boobytrapped his car stereo from being stolen by putting razor blades ended up having a longer prison sentence than the thief who broke into it and got his hands mangled.

Well, actually the perpertrator is supposed to feel pain immediately and will more than likely remove his penis w/out hesitation. So its doubtful that the blood will leak outside the condom as the blades are small and latch on.

the way i see it, he won't be raping her unless he has physical control over her..& it doesn't take a knife or a gun to smack someone's face to bloody pulp with your fists...

yeah, i agree. rape will turn to murder. this isn't a good solution. it would have to incapicitate the attacker completely to be effective IMO.
 
And the really retarded thing is that this device is for "rape prevention". Hmmm... well if the guy sticks his penis in and gets barbed... he still penetrated, therefore he still raped... just got a nasty surprise in the process. The woman is still going to feel violated, regardless.
