**NEW ANTEC CASES & POWER SUPPLIES**

Cool, just update SX series ones. Are those new PS's AMD approved? They look pretty good so far. Any retailers carrying them?
 
The power supplies are apparently available at the stores already carrying Antec power supplied (although I have yet to see one at a retail store).
 
doh! and I thought my SX830 was the best! now they do this to me! I wonder if I can just order a new bezel and side panel 🙂

They are not yet approved, but will work just fine.


 
Nice! These are pretty cool looking. Is that a blowhole on the side panel that I see? Anyone know pricing or availability?
 
Take a closer look at front.. looks like it has 4 LED's in the front 🙂 now I'm really peeved.. also says front firewire and USB and that washable front filter I've been trying to find a place to buy for a long damn time..

Geez, I have the SX1030 with an Enermax powersupply and 2 80mm blowholes on the side. I really don't need the blow holes, but you had to notice the stupid LEDs!!!!!! Man, I wonder what the purpose for 4 LEDs is for. I must resist...
 
On top of what's already been said, the black ones are now *ahem* actually black! Or that's how the photo looks, anyway.

Hey AntecCSR, if you read this, is Antec going to cook up a Performance Series microATX case for us sometime?
 
Looks like Antec is going to the dual-fan model for their highest-performance power supplies. Gold connectors and fan grills--looking more like an Enermax all the time 🙂 I wonder who is manufacturing these--Channel Well, Heroichi, or yet someone else now. Also, I wonder if Chenming is coming through with the new case designs.
 
No front bezels of the Plus series are available. In fact I have no time table for when they will be available (I asked).

No MicroATX cases are planned either.

We have orders for the new power supplies and are trying to get them to the retailers quickly. You're likely to find them at the online folks earlier then the brick and mortars although with delivery times etc it'll probably work out to be the same.

4 LED's are for whatever you want to do with them, we figured for those with multiple HD's they can now hook them up and see which one is being used etc etc. Mostly though we just wanted to make them available to customers.

Yes that's a blow hole you see.

That's a pretty cool idea, but how would you get that to work? I mean, I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure I have never seen a lead on my mobo for a secondary HD/IDE LED.

It's good to see Antec differenciating themselves from the stock ChenMing/Chieftech cases (actually adding the filter option!!!🙂!!!, giving those extra LED's, and of course that front firewire/USB.. gives us a real reason to actually buy the Antec case over going directly to the manufacturer (the power supply has always been a good incentive tho).. good show Antec! 😀
