New AMD processor Drivers

Well, apparently there are some new drivers released today for both the Athlon 64 and the X2, designed to work on Windows XP x64. According to the website, it deals with dynamic clockspeed/voltage adjustment. Do the drivers do anything else? I read someone's comment that there is some stability added by downloading them, but I have no idea how accurate that is. I'd love some extra performance, but since I'm overclocking quite a bit, I don't know if that will screw things up.
