Nice case, any word on what the case is though? I think their previous case was an antec sx 1080? or was it a 1030.

wow, those cases are freaky. looks line alienware's trying to freak out the squares. i've never seen anything like that so it doesn't look like they're cobranding someone else's case, totally unique.

when are they going to start using those guys ?

that is one fugly case. what is the purpose of that black "web". is it there to prevent you from accessing your ports in the back, obstruct airflow, et al?

if Alienware did away with the "eyes" and the back thing then it'd look pretty cool(in a color besides that neon green of course ;))

I think that's pretty sweet...

If they weren't so damn expensive, I'd consider buying one instead of building a PC.

Wish they (or someone) would sell these cases though.

Good luck with that one... this is probably one of those Alienware exclusives from Chenming... you can probably have the same case ONLY if you order a truckload of it from Chenming itself. :D

It's the same thing. Well, the Chassis is. The panels and bezel are obviously just some new molded plastic.

Inside it's nothing new.

Personally, I think they are ugly as all hell. They've put themselves in a position where people can't easily put holes and stuff in their cases, and I don't like that. Oh well, as long as they are making money, I'm sure it won't matter to them.

The case is definately marketable for Alienware; however, I hope that is not the only decision for the switch. If the case offers no benefits (eg: better cooling) I see no reason why Alienware should switch to such a case design. Seems to me that they are playing to the end users shopping at Best Buy--something that really stands out (like the Apple computers)... nothing wrong with that but I don't like the case design either way.

I dont like the eyes, the web looks like a handle to me. Kudos for Alienware, even though they are expensive systems. The perfectly configured for what they do.

When I got hoem from school MaxPC was waiting for me in the mailbox and I thought the new Alienware case is great, except that it still doesnt have a window. I dont know why Alienware doesnt do case windows. I think that if they incorporate a window, it would be totally kickass!

Oh man that is one of the ugliest cases I've ever seen. I'd rather go for a Falcon Northwest or a VoodooPC simply based on case alone.
