awesome, I have a dachshund mix of 7 years.

one thing is that his teeth are bad. It's a genetic thing.

Alot of dogs will eat a ton as puppies, some will eat enough that their bellies almost drag on the ground. I think it's pretty normal.

We have a miniature Dachshund too. He had the surgery on his back earlier this year. PLEASE make sure you handle them correctly and don't let them do things to injure their backs. It was the absolute worst feeling in the world when he wouldn't walk around on his own and would yelp when we tried to pick him up. Save yourself a lot of heartache (and money).

The pillow goes in the basket and the dog goes on pillow. Try again.
