Nice. I like the looks of it. I'm sure it sounds good too.

3 of my 4 guitars are Ibanez. ;)

Brand new. Very comfortable guitar. I play mostly Ibanez so this is just another nice addition to the family of the guitars I already own.

Cool, not a big fan of that trem but it's a nice axe for sure.

The Fred is a nice bridge pup too... did you get red or black?

Same colour as shown in the pic Black Pearl. Of course I'm not going to tell my gal how much I paid for it. As far as she knows, it's only a $200 guitar. It would be suicide if I told her I paid $1500 for it.

Ibanez are mostly all I play. I own 5 Ibanez of various models.

I just picked up an EBMM petrucci.. the tremolo is so badass on that guitar it's unfair.

The EBMM Petrucci is the next guitar on my "buy" list. I was looking at some youtube videos just yesterday on the design process on that axe.

It's one of the best engineered guitars I've ever played. I got mine fully loaded with the piezo/etc

I played one for about an hour. I asked them to get it setup properly and call me back, which they did, and boy what a nice guitar. Neck and bridge are impressive. I gave the bridge a real working and it held up nicely. Damn guitar stores.... seems like when all I want to do is buy a pedal I end up buying a heck of a lot more. Congrats.

Yeah the bridge holds up to some absolute ridiculous abuse.. I spent 30 minutes just dive bombing it and it was still in tune when I was finished.. plus WAY less hardware than a floyd rose and no locking nut either. I dig the paint job too, changes color in the light from green->purple and shades of blue too, very neat under stage lights :)

What kind of other gear do you have and/or will you use with the new axe?

Lately I've been playing with a Marshall AVT150H with a 1960A cab which I purchased second hand before Christmas. I no longer have the room in my house to store a lot of equipment so I usually keep larger gear for a couple years tops before I sell it and get something else to tinker with. Pedals is a simple Cry Baby Wah, Digitech Bad Monkey and Boss DS-1. Various Line6 processing gear.
