New Acer monitor flickers like crazy at times

Got a new 21.5" Acer LCD and there'll be times where it flickers like crazy to the point that it's unusable. Any ideas what can cause it?
 
Not sure what causes it, but have heard that lowering Brightness sometimes eliminates flicker.

If it persists you might need to RMA it. So don't wait too long.
 
Hmm looks like it has to do with the cable..if I angle it just so it won't flicker, but if it's a bit off it will.

I wonder if it's just the cable, at work I use the same laptop on a different LCD and it's fine.

Might be your Connector on the Monitor. try another Cable to be sure, RMA if it persists.
