New 7870 - HDTV runs in black bars now.

Was on a GTX 560 Ti that worked fine, now whenever I turn on the picture comes up with a black square around it. I can go into the TV settings and turn on zoom which runs full screen but this setting doesn't last past a blank screen (power saving feature in Windows).

This is annoying as heck. Any way to set something different to just fill screen properly like the GTX did?

There's a slider in CCC for "display scaling" (or similar name) for this. I think AMD shows the black boxes as default (hdmi only?) for the people that still have TVs that underscan and hide the star button an taskbar. Make sure you're using 12.8 or later because there was a bug introduced in 12.5 or 12.6 that would forget your setting.
