So I was playing a few games today without a problem. I stop playing and hop onto the internet for some forum brousing. I then notice these green dots appearing all over my monitor. Then it starts to lock up on me. So I restart and in the bios screen I see this video tearing all over the place then something like the matrix happens on my computer. Is there any way to fix this or is it fvcked?

maybe updating your driver would help?
i once had tearing on mine as well
that's after accidentally pouring water onto the card while i was removing my watercooling setup
then i thought i dried it but apparently didn't and the tearing was all over my screen
then it wouldn't even display jack
but then after a couple of days....miracle happened
i plugged the card back into my motherboard
i fired up just fine and now it's completely normal!!!

thats weird, similar stuff happened to my X850xt, only the thing is, I get a matrix of red dots across the screen if I overclock my card after it was damaged... I guess the ATi cards use red instead of Nvidia green, but anyway! my problems were caused when I overclocked way too far by accident, and the fan control shut off, so my card overheated, and was also underpowered by a "thermaltake 430W" psu, but as soon as I got an OCZ modstream520, it never locked up again. I still get the red matrix (dots about every inch or so) across the screen if I'm overclocking very much, so it limits my performance now.

advice, don't melt your GPU;)
