Just got my eVGA 7600 gt from the ZZF deal, wonderful card for a semi-enthusiast like me. Got myself a compaq SR1750NX and threw this in, ran excellently! I'm still running tests on it, but here's what I got sofar...

With 84.25 drivers,

3dmark05 stock speed (580/1500 so says the box...560/1400 so says coolbits) 5783
3dmark05 @ 605/1510 6222

DL'ing 3dmark 06 right now so i'll have those scores posted later tonight

Idle temp's about 58C
Load temp's about 68C

Glad to have this card!!! :D

Not yet, i'm scuuuuured! But what's the worst that can happen, I get artifacts and step it back down?

PS this is my first "real" video card. I say "real" because my last card was a 9800 Pro that I got last year this time....lol

BTW overclocking with coolbits.

It's just like with any overclocking: First you start at stock. Then you bring up the core speed in around 10 MHz increments (do nothing to memory), and after each 10 MHz, run a game or 3D Mark 06 (not the whole thing, just a test or two). Then bump it up another 10 MHz. Repeat. When you get artifacts or see the temperatures rising too high, reduce it 5 MHz and try again. When you have the max of the core, throttle down the core to stock and increase the memory the same way. Then try it with both @ their maximum and see if it works, if not bump both down around 5-10 MHz.

Have you used coolbits to detect optimal settings? I ran it on my 7900GT and it said that it was at optimal. Then I upgraded the cooling with a Zalman VF700CU and now it detects 588/830 or something like that. I went with the conservative method and backed down to 550/800 and ran RTHDRIBL for 30 minutes. No problem. I then ran Quake 4 at some intense settings for an hour, no problem. I bet I can go quite a bit higher but even stock speed on my XFX card is plenty fast.
