I got the 2005 for 451.85.
I had a dell exclusive code for $35 off that ends today at 11pm.
That's a sweet price for a 20.1 inch LCD

Now if someone can find me 1 more coupon in the next 2 hours it will be even sweeter.:)

I'm looking to get the 17" Ultrasharp for super cheap, don't see coupons for it often are there any?

I might just be forced to get a second 2001FP or 2005FPW

What offers will the 35% stack with besides DPA? Will it stack with any of the ebay 35 off 300 coupons?

i ordered my 1905fp on sat.... i used the 30% code, then a $35 off code from ebay, then my $35 of via DPA, and free shipping. so i would think the ebay dell E&A coupon should stack.

For those that got the 2005FPW, was the VGA cable already plugged into yours? I almost dropped the LCD screen because the VGA cable was threaded up through the styrofoam that holds the base.

Got mine for 451.85. Too bad I couldn't find a 35 off 300 on ebay before 11, or I could have gotten it for 416.85!

how does a 1901FP compare to a 1905FP?

The 1800FP doesn't ghost at all, but the 1901/05 do. If ghosting doesn't bother you then the 1901/05 should fit the bill. IMHO 1" of screen size w/ the same 1280x1024 resolution doesn't warrant the upgrade.

I agree with John as my 1800FP is better than a clients 1905 IMO but I would like the 2005FPW or better yet the 24"...prices on LCD are dropping fast so I can wait

Personally never used 1905FP but I had dual 1901FP setup and I was extremely pleased with them.

Does any single vid card even support this?

no, I don't think so... but if we have PCI-e SLI... and both cards are dual head... or if PCI cards that support the widescreen res.. slap a few in the machine :)

got my 2005fpw for $450. yeah, the analog cable was screwed in pretty damn tight on mine. i had to use a screwdriver to take it off, and when i did the octogonal screws for the 15-pin jack unscrewed off along with the analog cable, sheesh. had to screw the ocotgonal screws back after that.

Do you have to sign up to get those kinds of things? Where?

I'd dearly love to get one of those 20" monitors (thinking 2001fp for better gaming compatibility), but the current price tag is just TOO steep for my taste.

I bought a dell PC back in 97 and they kept on sending me these books ever since. I think you just call and ask for it :)
