New 3570k - Normal

So I just got back from my Local CompUSA with my new i5 3570k, and immediately installed it into my first build.

Currently I'm running:
MSI Z77A-GD65
i5 3570k
Cooler Master 212+ Evo
Corsair Obsidian 650D

Boot into the bios, and it's running at anywheres between 40~43 Celsius. Bios is telling me the CPU Fan is running at about 1840 RPM's. Given that currently I don't have AC on, and it's about 80 Fahrenheit out, is this about normal to expect?Or perhaps I installed the 212 incorrectly? I used Noctua NT-H1 instead of the included thermal paste, and perhaps I applied too little?

Sounds normal. BIOS never runs the CPU in idle. And remember tjmax is 105C on IB. 100C on SB.

Boot windows and use realtemp or coretemp to see the temps. You can check both idle and full burn with prime95, intel burn test etc.
