If you're looking for a screen for the PS3 then you want a TV, not a monitor.

that 65" LCD may be huge but at more than twice the diagonal size of the 30" Dell, it has a lower resolution!

Computer monitors aren't for consoles - that's what HDTV's are for!

The Dell 30" LCD is not only too big for my budget, but it's also too big for my desk.

However, if I had room and money, I would much rather have a high-res computer LCD than a bigger but lower-res TV LCD.

Too small. 65" is not big enough to give you sense of immersion.

What you need is THIS.

Way better contrast. Better contrast than DLP. This is the projector I would buy if I won the lottery.

I don't know of a Plasma that can do 1080P (1920X1080) resolution.
