Hey all,
I am considering a 22" Samsung from Newegg. SAMSUNG 2243BWX

I currently use a SynchMaster 710T (12ms) for gaming and everything else and it seems to do just fine. Do I need to consider contrast ratio, brightness etc.? Should I spend a few more bucks? Appreciate your help and expertise... 😎
 
The Dell 2209WA has an IPS panel, so will have great color and viewing angle. The price is very good for this type of panel. The Samsung you linked to should be fine as well, and is $100 less. I just bought the $160 Hanns-G 22" LCD for a friend (just recevied today) and it actually is very decent - better than I expected. If you can afford it, and plan on having the monitor for a long time, then the Dell 2209WA would be a good investment - I wish there were more reviews out there on it.
