I would recommend not waiting on this LCD if your interest is in gaming. I waited and waited...then against my better judgement bought the 1901FP. I was expecting to be sorely disappointed...but I love it. I have played a bunch of games so far - UT2003, Elite Force2, Jedi Academy, Tron 2.0 and Halo beta...no problems at all. No noticeable blurring. Next time you can snap up one of these for $470 from Dell grab it.

i wonder what are the chances of getting dead pixels. a dead pixel on a 1.5k monitor.. that would hurt.

and yea, for gaming your better off with a crt still. 22" flat screens can be had for cheap. dual monitor is where its at:) get one of each.

ksv666: I am going to try to publish the article this week. Computex and other trade shows have been a hiccup in my schedule. One of the things I will touch on is grey to grey matrixes.

Kristopher,

You are the man!!! Please publish a link in one of the posts so I can find it. I missed the last one that you posted. I don't want to sound like a dope any more thannecessary :).

One last thing, will it be downloadable like the other one?

Cheers,

-Kirk

Kristopher any word on that FFM technology or whatever it's called? (that's when they apply higher voltage for a shorter time to decrease the grey-to-grey transition) ... the technology has been proofed for 2 years now but still we don't see any LCDs with it?
