I would really like to see a reality mod or some kind of tactical mod to go along with that jungle setting. That would be awesome, especially online. It would be like a real game of paintball with all that foilage to hide behind. The jungle mission alone would be enough to warrant me buying this game, but when i saw the aircraft carrier scenes. Oh man...amazing. Just thinking of thoose 2 scenes in the game. Thats what i think they need more of in shooters nowadays. Change of scenery, and a very detailed attempt at the scenery. This game looks like it will have everything a pc fps could possibly want.

I am really impressed by these guys, again and again... Top notch programmers and I think they are really going to drop some jaws next spring.

I would think that "top notch" programmers wouldn't have trouble putting this game on a 360 or PS3. "Too complex" for Wii, yeah. But not 360/PS3.

Well, from my understanding (unless linked with information saying otherwise) the Xbox 360 and PS3 are not DX10 compatable and will be limited to DX9 for the duration of their shelf life. That being the case and the fact that Cevat specifically says the game is being written to take advantage of DX10 features, one does not have to wonder why the PC version will surpass the XBox 360 or PS3 in terms of quality. They could certainly put the game out on Xbox 360 or PS3 if they wanted too, but many of the features would have to be disabled, which brings back to his origional statement that it is not possible for the XBox 360 or PS3 to be able to compete with the PC.

But whatever the case, I am more incline to believe Cevat at this point, since neither of us has an understanding from a developers viewpoint.

Anyone know what DX version these videos were run on? Were they Alpha versions of DX10 and DX10 cards or can I expect DX9 hardware to be able to look like that? That would be ideal 🙂

Insane, it simply blows away anything else. I just hope it looks as goon in game or better. It will need some serious hardware.

Would DX10 be needed for the fully interactive scenery or is that basic.

Again from what I remember being said during the E3 interviews.

All the E3 footage was running directX9 on a 1900XT.

I dont want to buy some phyics card..

I dont ubi pledged the game to aegia.

Yup, from what I have read, they aren't using it. It is going to be multi-threaded, so a dual core cpu should give much better performance.

The guy talking in the video sort of creeps me out.

Normally I would laugh, but not in this case. The guys nationality isn't American. He probably speaks 3 different languages fluently and puts most of us to shame in the communication department.
